(J.G.) I’m Jeff Giedt, I’m the Vice President and Lab Director at Demartek. 

(J.B.) And I’m Jennifer Brunnings and I am the Project Manager at Demartek.

(J.G.) Demartek is an IT industry analyst and testing laboratory. We test servers, storage, and software products for companies in the industry and for end-users. We were interested in becoming an EPA approved Energy Star testing laboratory and that required ISO 17025 accreditation.

(J.B.)  The reason why we chose Compliancehelp was because we started working on the process by ourselves and we realized we were going in the wrong direction … we didn’t  really know what we were doing. So we called up Compliancehelp and we heard back right away and got a consultant out on-site really quickly. And because  they were so quick with their response and the price was good and the time just worked out well, that’s why we chose them.

(J.G.)  It was wonderful working with Compliancehelp. Our consultant was friendly and knowledgeable and clearly knew the ISO specification very well. He came in and helped us identify processes we already had, worked them so they would be in compliance with the specification, and then made recommendations for other processes that we could implement rather easily to complete our compliance.

(J.B.)  It was really daunting at first not knowing what was going to be important and what wasn’t, so it was nice to have someone on our team so that we knew those answers. And we realized that if we had done it ourselves we would have gone off in completely the wrong direction and done too much work in some areas and not enough in others.

(J.B.)  It took us three months to get certified if you count from the very first time that we contacted compliance help. If you count from when our consultant came on-site, it was even less than that.

(J.G.)  Compliancehelp was the only consultant that we spoke to who agreed to actually meet our timeframe.
