Introduction to our client

First started in 1896, the copper mine is now being mined by the Copper Mines of Tasmania.

The story

Copper Mines of Tasmania decided to award Compliancehelp with the certification project June 2011.

Introductions and interviews were held on-site in July 2011 with senior management and selected representatives.

Documentation of the management system and implementation was completed in December 2011.

By mid December 2011, the Copper Mines of Tasmania achieved certification to ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems). All done with zero corrective actions from the auditors.
